The course has been designed to provide an overview of the provisions of the Warehouse (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007. It discusses in detail, the purpose and use of warehouse receipts and highlights the role of contract labour regulation with respect to warehouse management. It also examines the powers and functions of various authorities established under the Act.
