The word ‘tort’ has been derived from a Latin word ‘Tortus’ which means twisted. Therefore, tort law can be invoked when someone does something ‘twisted’ to you, in other words, tort is an act or omission which causes harm to someone. In such cases, the aggrieved party can seek remedies from the court of law for such wrongful act. The person who commits a tort is called the tortfeaser. The law of torts in India is primarily based on the common law principles. It encompasses a wide range of wrongful acts like negligence, nuisance, vicarious liability, strict and absolute liability, battery, assault, defamation, trespass, malicious prosecution etc.
The Certificate in Understanding the Law of Torts, aims to provide an overview of the law of torts in India vis-à-vis vicarious liability, negligence, nuisance, torts against human beings and property, liability based on fault, by means of video lectures by Scriboard Advocates and Legal Consultants, in association with Enhelion.
According to the law firm and our policy, the course fees will not be refunded.

In every walk of life, the process of evaluation takes place in one form or the other. If the evaluation process is eliminated from human life then perhaps the aim of life may be lost. Being in the same line, Enhelion is committed to evaluate the process of learning through its courses.
The enrollee will be evaluated based on a Project Assignment, which would test the analytical understanding of the topics covered in the video lectures.
The most intriguing aspect of the evaluation process is the time flexibility it affords. You can choose to undergo the evaluation process as and when you are ready for the same.
To be eligible to receive a certificate after successful completion of the course, one is required to secure an overall minimum of 40 percent in the Project Assignment.
