Foundation course on Hindu Law

There is a belief that the concept of family emerged out of certain needs of human beings like sharing emotional sentiments, procreation etc. With the evolution of the institution of 'family', a need was felt for a law to govern it. This led to the development of Personal Laws. The personal laws applicable to Hindus were not codified earlier. However, several attempts led to the enactment of a series of legislation dealing with different aspects of the life of a Hindu, which became the source of Hindu Law in modern times.

The Foundation course on Hindu Law aims to provide an overview of the provisions of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, Hindu Succession Act, 1956, Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956 and Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956, along with the recent amendment and case laws, by means of video lectures.

In every walk of life, the process of evaluation takes place in one form or the other. If the evaluation process is eliminated from human life then perhaps the aim of life may be lost. Being in the same line, Enhelion is committed to evaluate the process of learning through its courses.

The enrollee will be evaluated based on a Project Assignment, which would test the analytical understanding of the topics covered in the video lectures. 

The most intriguing aspect of the evaluation process is the time flexibility it affords. You can choose to undergo the evaluation process as and when you are ready for the same.

To be eligible to receive a certificate after successful completion of the course, one is required to secure an overall minimum of 40 percent in the Project Assignment.
